Course Description

This course is designed to introduce students to the principles of graphic design as they apply to creating a high school yearbook Throughout the year, students will work collaboratively to design and produce the yearbook, including selecting themes and layouts, creating graphics and designs, and managing the printing and distribution process. They will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of software programs to create and edit images and design layouts. In addition to practical skills, students will also learn about the importance of branding and how to effectively communicate visually through design. They will be encouraged to think critically and creatively as they work on their projects. By the end of the course, students will have gained a comprehensive understanding of the graphic design process and will have the skills and knowledge needed to create a professional and visually appealing yearbook.
