Course Description

مَرحَبا بِكُم في صَفّ العَرَبية ١! This course will introduce us to the Arabic language and to the cultures of the Arab World. This year, we will learn to introduce and talk about ourselves, interact in daily life situations, and read and write using the Arabic alphabet. We will also explore the various regions and cultures that exist within the Arab World through listening to music, watching videos, reading authentic materials from Arabic-speaking countries, and more. We will focus on all five language skills in order to build Arabic proficiency: speaking, listening, writing, reading, and cultural understanding.
