Course Description

This course covers the areas of mechanics, heat, light and other waves, electromagnetism, and electromagnetic radiation, and is intended to build a conceptual understanding of physical laws and natural processes. Students will experiment with a wide variety of physical phenomena in order to develop an understanding of how scientists learn about the natural world as well as what they have learned about it, and explore the mathematical relationships which can be seen between measurable variables describing these phenomena.
