Course Description

This course continues with a study of more complex Latin grammar, after a short review of material covered the previous year. Knowledge of verb forms and of vocabulary in general is expanded. Students learn the more complex grammatical concepts through translation of Latin stories. Knowledge of Greco-Roman mythology, Roman institutions and history, and Mediterranean geography is expanded. Students are tested on vocabulary and grammatical concepts in translation. Engaging term projects are assigned on various topics.
