Course Description

This course will build on fundamentals learned in Chinese I. Students will learn how to ask and answer questions, how to use the dictionary to read and how to write for informative and narrative purposes. They will also learn 200 new characters. Cultural aspects will include further study of all areas of Chinese civilization, ancient and modern. Students will visit the language laboratory. Tapes, videos, CDs and DVDs will be used extensively to study Chinese language and culture.
